Bench: In memory of Rodney Grindley

Positioned to provide a view of a tree lined vista is this wooden bench in Carlisle.

A simple carved message, across the rear rail reads:

In memory of Rodney Grindley 28 June 1944 – 22 August 2000 BTCV volunteer

The bench can be found in the north of the city as part of the Kingmoor nature reserve.

Based in Spencer Street in Carlisle the BTCV locally help improve the local community through the use of volunteers.
